Welcome to Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council
Sri Lanka – Thailand Business Council is the apex business-to-business (B2B) meeting point in finding new business contacts, co-operation partners or a platform, which can be used to buy or sell products and services.
This voluntary association whose membership is comprised of companies, civic leaders, and individual business people understands the fundamental where future of state’s economy, which is directly tied to international trade and commerce. Sri Lanka – Thailand Business Council advocates the development and access of international markets to all stakeholders seeking to maximize the region’s diversity promoting bilateral trade, travel and tourism, and investment opportunities.
Our Objectives
- To promote trade, tourism and services between Sri Lanka and Thailand and in particular to promote exports from Sri Lanka to Thailand.
- To encourage Thai investments and the establishments of joint ventures in Sri Lanka between Thailand and Sri Lankan Investors.
- To exchange information on trade and investment with the appropriate bodies in Thailand.
- To conduct joint meetings with Thai business organizations both in Sri Lanka and in Thailand.
- To serve as a recognized representative of business sector interests in Sri Lanka in matters concerning business relationships with Thailand.
- To co-operate with the Government of Sri Lanka in the pursuit of the above objects.
- To undertake all matters that are incidental or conductive to attaining the above objectives.
